Nordic Trout, part of the Nordic Fish group, has appointed Jussi Kosomaa as chief business officer

Nordic Trout has appointed Jussi Kosomaa as chief business officer. Jussi has extensive experience in the international food industry, most recently as a factory manager at Ravintoraisio. Jussi will join our organisation on 15 January 2024 and will report to Nordic Trout Managing Director Hans-Mikael Helenius.

“Nordic Fish is a leader in its field in Finland and Sweden, and I’m very grateful to be joining this strong team. The consistent work that has been done in recent years to develop the company and the industry as a whole gives me confidence that the ambitious strategy will be realised, and that the appreciation of Finnish fish will be brought to the level it deserves. I’m looking forward to developing Nordic Trout with fish farming professionals,” says Jussi.

“We’re very excited to have an international food expert join us to fully develop our fish farming towards our goals of responsible and sustainable farming. We want to respond vigorously to the demand for Finnish fish in particular,” says Helenius. The managing director adds that in line with the company’s fish growth strategy, it is making supply chain management more capable, while setting a new standard for the industry.
