Food control

All our products are subject to official food control. The practical work is carried out by separate external expert bodies.

These authorities regularly take samples that are analysed for possible traces of environmental toxins and other foreign substances. The water and ice in our facility are also analysed in order to ensure good and safe food hygiene.

The central gutting plant has an internal control programme that has been approved and is regularly inspected by the authorities.

All analyses of environmental toxins, foreign substances and pharmaceutical residue indicate that farmed fish are a safe and clean food source.
